After a long time of preparation a company called Vis@frica - lead by Emmanuelle Lemerle - has published the first comprehensive Tourism and Business Directory on the Sudan. This book of 200 pages has been published by mid march 2004. The first part of the directory is dedicated to the country itself, general information about the Sudan, history, geography, topography, customs and traditions, religion, useful information and adresses and places to visit.
The second part of the directory is a profile of the leading 50 companies operating in the country, both in the public and private sector.
. A large section is dedicated to the Sudanese Red Sea and its major diving spots. Sudan, a country which is still unknown but which has quite a lot to offer in specific areas and in particular diving.
